This is cool! I designed this “Dual Fort” swing set and cross-bridge for my customer’s 6 year old twins. Constructed with Canadian cedar, the 2 individual forts are connected by an arched bridge. The center support girder for the bridge carries a pair of swings. Custom ladders lead to platforms that lead to the fort’s rear-entrances, one of which supports the slide. The treads of the ladders are designed to remove every-other step as the children grow… =)
A child’s dream-house… a masterpiece of fun!! I designed this play house and built it for a set of boy and girl twins. It has 2 floors, an outdoor staircase, rear upstairs balcony, a covered front porch with a general store-styled Dutch-door, 2 rear Dutch doors, and an octagon access hatch and ladder leading from the first floor to the second. I drew and routered out the dinosaurs, fish, flowers and sun widow cutouts… =)
